Assessment Test
On the first morning of the English language course students take an assessment test to ensure they are placed in the appropriate class. We provide for all levels, from English lessons for beginners through intermediate to advanced English.  Our beginners level class assumes students have studied English for a minimum of one year, either at school or evening class. If a student is a complete beginner we recommend that they enrol on an Oxford College of English Private, one-to-one, English language course in Torquay before joining a group course.

Lessons
Our courses are designed to enhance English language skills already acquired in your own country. Our aim is to ensure you have the best possible language course covering conversation, comprehension, reading and writing, together with an enjoyable stay in England.  The dedicated teachers use tried and tested methods together with innovative ideas to help you improve your English, and being immersed in the English environment helps you to gain the confidence to apply the language in everyday situations. We believe that lessons do not have to be boring to be useful. Our English tuition comes with the fun included! 

Please note that lessons do not take place on British public holidays. On the holiday  and intensive courses in Torquay  we organise an activity or excursion on such days.
