Oxford College of English Language School was founded in 1978. With over 30 years experience teaching English as a foreign language, we believe we have the correct recipe for students to not only learn and improve their English, but also to enjoy learning English! Students can join one of our General English language courses at any time during the year. During the holiday seasons, we offer both young students and adults the opportunity to learn English in England, together with an activity and excursion programme. In August we also offer English in Edinburgh.Staying with a host family and attending an Oxford College of English language course, is the best way of improving your language. | |
English Language Holiday Courses in Northampton and Torquay We specialise in fully inclusive English language holiday courses for students who want to combine learning English with sightseeing in Britain. We offer 15 hours English language tuition per week together with an excellent excursion, sports and activity programme, plus lots of fun for all age groups. Accommodation is arranged with host families who provide breakfast, packed lunch and an evening meal each day. Our English language courses last from 1 to 4 weeks. | |

General English Courses in Northampton Our General English courses run throughout the year in Northampton. The English language courses offer 15 hours tuition per week by highly experienced English language Teachers. Students take an assessment test on the first morning to ensure they are placed in the correct class. We are an international English language school, with students from Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. In addition to the IELTS examination, students are, by arrangement, able to take the Cambridge First Certificate or Cambridge Proficiency examinations. Lessons take place Monday to Friday between 09:00-12:00 each day-15 hours each week You can start a course on any Monday Course fees are £130 per week Stay from 1 week to 50 weeks Intensive course option: 15 hours group tuition plus 2½ hours private tuition each week on a one-to-one basis: £185 per week

| Intensive English language courses based in Oxford, Northampton and Torquay During the summer, we offer, intensive English language courses providing tuition in both the morning and afternoon. Our prices are fully inclusive of host family accommodation.
Oxford: Prices include 30 hours tuition per week, host family accommodation with breakfast and evening meal. Minimum age 16 years. In Oxford we do not include an activity and excursion programme in the price. Northampton: Prices include 24 hours tuition per week, host family accommodation with breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal plus two full day excursions, one half day excursion and one activity per week. Minimum age 12 years. Torquay: Prices include 30 hours tuition per week, host family accommodation with breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal plus one full day excursion per week and an evening programme. | |
One-to-One private tuition in Northampton Oxford College of English can arrange an English teacher on a one-to-one basis. Individual tuition is an excellent way of learning or improving English as quickly as possible. English lessons can be booked to teach either General English or Business English.The one-to-one private courses will be tailored to your particular requirements. Prices for General English one-to-one private tuition - One hour £25

- 20 hours £400 = £20.00 per hour - advance purchase option
Prices for Business English one-to-one private tuition - One hour £40

All the above prices are based on tuition at our premises. If you require in-house training please ask for an individual quotation. We can also arrange private tuition on a one-to-one basis at our language school in Torquay. | |
